Accenture, Diageo and L’Oreal among top employers for diversity and inclusion

Professional services firm Accenture, alcoholic drinks organisation Diageo, and cosmetics business L’Oreal (pictured) are among the employers listed among the Top 100 most diverse and inclusive organisations globally.

The list is formed using data, analytics, trading, and risk assessment organisation Refinitiv’s Diversity and Inclusion Index, which launched in 2016. The index analyses the performance of more than 7,000 publicly traded organisations across four main pillars: diversity, inclusion, people development and news controversies. Employers are awarded an overall percentage score, based on their performance within these four categories.

Within the top 100 list, 25 are based in the US, 10 in the UK and 9 in Australia. Those that appear in the rankings include Johnson and Johnson at 27, GlaxoSmithKline at 37, Vodafone at 39, Pepsico at 49, and Siemens at 53.
